Jōnetsu (情熱) is the Japanese word for passion, an enthusiastic and zealous pursuit of something great. We believe high quality kitchen cutlery and knives should not be so expensive that most people can never afford one.

We first started fell in love with Japanese knives as chefs and instantly became evangelists of these beautiful pieces. Unfortunately we found a market full of knockoffs and price gouging, so we set out to fix that.

Everything in the store has been tested and loved by our team. Anything we do not love, we do not sell.

Food tastes better when shared with others. We are committed to donating 10% of all profits to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital so more kids can kick cancer's a** and grow into passionate chefs and foodies.
